The Fortify team is always looking for great early stage companies to invest in and support.
As founders ourselves we value chemistry and passion above all else. We look for teams that love what they are doing and the people they are doing it with. We also look for a team with deep understanding and experience in their industry.
Our preference is for companies that have some kind of working product. Paying customers are not required for Fortify to make an investment (but it does not hurt). An MVP or beta with some users (working prototype) could be sufficient.
A huge market opportunity is important. We look for companies whose offering can be a game changer in their market. Disrupting an industry and the desire to change the world is a step in the right direction.
Revenue is best here. In pre-revenue situations we look for other forms of expressed interest from the industry. This could be an ever growing number of users, strategic investments from industry players, partnerships or media coverage, among others.
